I am currently a sophomore in high school and really think Calpoly would be the best school to attend, mostly due to financial reasons because I am a local. I want to attend as a Kinesiology major, as I wish to be a Physician Assistant. This year my schedule consists of Chemistry, Pre-AP English, Algebra 2, AVID, AP Spanish and AP European History. Next year I am planning on taking Physics, AP Lang, Pre-Calc, AVID, Maybe a VPA class?? And Dual Enrollment US History. Senior year I’m not sure what science class to take, AP lit, AP Stats, AVID, Maybe a VPA class here if I didn’t complete it Junior year and a regular Econ/Gov class. I am a bit worried because although I have a 4.33 GPA (and it would stay that way if I do well in my future classes) I feel like only taking two AP/Dual Enrollment classes a year would make my schedule look weak compared to others. Are there any classes specifically you would recommend? I am involved in extracurriculars and what not, but would 6 AP classes in total not suffice?
