Switch Major on Application?

Hello everyone, I was recently added to the waitlist and have been trying to find ways to increase my chance of getting off. I’ve heard that some engineering majors are considerably easier to get into than other ones. So, my question is is there any way to switch the major on my application? Or at least let admissions know that I would gladly accept admission for a different engineering major than the one I applied to?
