2006 Cadillac DTS (Luxury II Model) Seats Uncomfortable

Post Body

Has anyone found the DTS seats to not be very ergonomic. Especially for tall people (6 foot 2). I just came from a grand marquis and I just felt like I had so much space in a similarly sized car. This was shocking because I thought the DTS would be soooo comfortable for what it is or at the minimum a little less than my other car.

I find if i sit too close to be able to hold the wheel comfortably my knee is hitting the radio unit making it uncomfortable and cramped.

If I move the seat back then I need to grab the steering wheel like I'm Frankenstein. (I unfortunately do not have the telescoping steering wheel which would solve this issue. I mean unless i sit at a 90 degree angle which is also uncomfortable and my head will be touching the roof lol.

Not to mention the ledge on the window sill is so skinny you can't sit with your elbow on it. and the ledge where the window buttons are is so low i feel like I'm sitting getting blood drawn.

Anyone have a similar experience? Or a way to extend the steering wheel outwards without comprimising the airbag or horn.

Otherwise I love the car. Handles much better than the marquis, better features, quicker. I just wish it was as comfortable for me as it looks.
