how reliable is a cts vs a ford. or any reliable car brand.

i currently own a cadillac deville 2004. i had one previous deville that had its issues it was an 04 w 160k miles. but it was an overall good car. i totaled that car and bought a 2nd deville which has been a curse. i am looking into buying a cts. i can find good deals with low miles. i have a budget of around 10 grand. but don’t want to be paying insane monthly payments on a car. but my question is how reliable are these cars? what years should i avoid?
