Dealership games tarnish the brand.
Post Body

Frustrating day yesterday, was quoted a good price yesterday over phone/email almost 3K under MSRP OTD on a Signature in the color I wanted from Wayne NJ, went out there to close the deal and they dragged and dragged and dragged, they couldn't find the car then finally did, then didn't want to write the contract, they had me fill out a lot of forms, but then they were getting ready to write the sales contract in pen and ink? They shuffled me to so many different sales people, they didn't want to give me the 0% financing, in fact they never tried to run my credit they just left me waiting, they were demanding a $500 deposit to "get the process started" and I ended up leaving without a deal. What was their endgame? Planning on keeping the deposit? Maybe they had someone else interested in the car for a higher price and was waiting for him to decide before letting me buy it? Someone misquoted and they didn't want to admit it? This kind of crap turns me off to the brand.
