I’ve been in grad school for the past 4 months and I’m returning home for 3 weeks for winter. I work in the pharmacy and I got let go back in October for I assume to be failing do a module. I got no word of my dismissal, just one of the pharmacists letting me know that I might be let go soon. When I checked Workday, they already fired me. Was never told and didn’t know I had to call HR to let them know I would be on leave.
The only reason why I would go back is because of the amazing friends I made there and the front store staff. Also I spent the month of June getting my CPhT and immunization certifications. Other than that, I hate working with disgruntled patients, there’s so much drama in the pharmacy, and I hate the workflow we have. They’re also making me take another drug test which I don’t want to do. The lead tech wasn’t even aware I had to do another one.
I didn’t enjoy coming to work, only enjoyed the company of the few people I found bearable, most of them being from the front store. I would like to make some money but I’m wondering if I should find a job elsewhere or just not work at all since it’s only 3 weeks.
