Note: with this character, I wanted to make his back story as authentic and close to what could happen in the JJK series, while also possessing abilities that are similar in capacity to some of the strongest characters in the series. The backstory is very dark, so if you aren’t into those type of things, I would highly advise you skip the first few paragraphs.

Haruka upbringing was downright hellish. He was born to an abusive, drugged-out father who worked as a lowly thug in the Yakuza, and a mother with serious mental problems caused by the husband, who verbally and physically beat and abused her daily. Haruka and his mother was locked in a basement away from the world while their father worked, where Haruka was given meager access to food and nourishment, and had only a small TV as entertainment. Haruka was beaten daily and roughed up by the father and even the mother in some instances depending on her mental state. The abuse allowed him to perceive the world - specifically time - differently, as if he could see the punches, slaps, and kicks in slow motion. After his mother hung herself, Haruka was able to escape when he snatched a knife from the small kitchen and stab his father in the neck while he was nearly beaten to death.

Haruka is around 7-8 years old, but has already gone through a lifetime of abuse. His first encounter after escaping with the outside world is a cursed spirit, which plans to devour and kill him. A jujutsu sorcerer is handling said cursed spirit, and thinks that he can’t save the kid… until Haruka dodges all the attacks, and completely obliterates the cursed spirit with a nonchalant attack filled with a staggering abundance of cursed energy. Said sorcerer realizes that this kid is different, and decides to bring him in and rehabilitate and train him to be a jujutsu sorcerer. Because of the amount of pure, unbridled cursed energy Haruka possesses due to his upbringing and trauma, he earns the last name Jigoku, which literally translates to “hell.”

Fast forward, and Jigoku is one of the most powerful sorcerers of his era. His cursed technique is based on time-based manipulation and perception, and possesses an astonishing amount of cursed energy and power to effectively execute and defeat powerful spirits and beings. His powers include:

Oracles Eye - Jigoku perceives the world and movements in slow motion with extreme detail, allowing for easier perception and prediction of opponents attacks and other phenomena.

Accelerate - Jigoku can apply staggering amounts of speed to himself, individuals, objects, and small areas by speeding up the time it takes for the said thing to reach its destination.

Decelerate - Jigoku can significantly slow down himself, individuals, objects, and small areas by slowing down the time it takes for said thing to reach its destination

Chrono Fury - This is the peak of the “acceleration” technique - Jigoku can speed up something so fast to the point it leave after images of that thing - which can deal substantial physical harm or deceive opponents - the thing moves so fast that it can’t be perceived.

Chrono Stasis - This is the peak of the “decelerate” technique - Jigoku can completely stop time or the movement of an object, individual, or small area. He can control what moves or doesn’t move within that area when Chrono Stasis is deployed.

Domain Expansion: Temporal Sanctum: Jigoku can loop a specific moment in time over and over, allowing repeated harm or other substantial damage/cursed energy drainage to the opponent. If the sorcerer cannot find a good moment in time to use his domain, he can change the conditions of his domain so that the opponent speed is drastically decreased while in the domain, and allows the sorcerer to see shortly into the future to predict the outcome of certain situations, which comes especially handy in hand-to-hand combat situations.
