Transfer student’s first time at CSULB, any tips for navigating campus, things to do between classes, joining clubs etc…?

Hi! This will be my first year at CSULB and was wondering if anyone had any tips for navigating campus or any hidden gems I might be missing out on. I’m trying to figure out things I can do on campus, maybe going to the gym in between? Do you find joining clubs to be beneficial for campus life? I didn’t do too much at my CC and I definitely would like to be more involved now that I have more free time on my hands. Any tips or suggestions are appreciated! :)
