I've been following everything since the news was first put out about an incident on campus so I wanted to compile everything they have into one post so people don't have to keep scrolling through different threads.

Campus police released a statement via email this morning noting that the body of a male was reported yesterday afternoon by the parking garage. He was pronounced deceased when police arrived on the scene.

The Daily 49er just posted more information on the case. Cause of death was deemed as a suicide, and the victim was a 15 year-old boy. He was not a student, nor was he affiliated with the university.

This is a tragic loss and my heart goes out to his family and friends as they navigate the long road ahead of them in their grief.
