Hello guys! I was wondering if anyone has gotten in for the BA in Social Work? My GPA is 3.9 😭, and graduated from a California community college. The application for the program starts this October, but I am worried I might not get in and will have to wait for Fall of next year to go take another major, because the BA in Social Work only starts Fall semester of every year. So if I apply this October, it will be for the Fall of 2023. But application is open for the Spring semester for Sociology.

Should I apply for Sociology with CSULB instead and start in the Spring? The end goal for me is to get an MSW. Or is it better to try my luck with Social Work?
