Thinking of taking a leave of absence (first time)

Post Body

I have been at this school for a little more than a year, and the online classes has taken its toll on me. I feel like I’m just doing assignments just for the grade and not really learning. Outside of school, all I do I go to work and get ready to tackle another day. I’m considering taking a leave of absence ( at least for spring 2022) but I’m scared it will look bad on my school record.

With I’m going with life right now, I haven’t been happy. I have friends who have good careers and didn’t go through the typical 4 year school route. One even told me why couldn’t I go through a trade school. I get good pay from work but fast food really isn’t for me in the long run. Hell, I haven’t even got my DL or a car. With a break from school, I want to focus on what I want to do with my life, yet I’m stuck worrying about my school life.

So any advice/suggestions for taking LOA? any experience that you have taking a break from school? I heard classes resume in person, and felt I kind of missed out on taking a LOA during this semester lol
