Dining Hall Guides and Policy Questions

Post Body

Hi everyone, I wanted to ask how lenient/solid these policies are/if no one really listens to it.

ā€œPajamas/Lingerie, Bathrobe/Towel as cover ups and Bathing Suits are also not allowed in the dining halls.ā€

ā€¢Lingerie, towels, and bathing suits I completely understand but pajamas arenā€™t allowed?

ā€œNo bags, large purses or backpacks are permitted in the dining halls.ā€

ā€¢Iā€™m supposed to walk to my dining hall, eat, walk back to my dorm room, grab my backpack, go back down and then go to class?

ā€œResidents are not permitted to bring their own food, mugs, cups, sports bottles, containers and outside food into the dining halls due to sanitary and health reasons.ā€

ā€¢So I canā€™t bring my water bottle to fill it up? Canā€™t bring a snack with me inside?

ā€œResidents are not permitted to take food out of the dining hall.ā€

ā€¢I literally paid for this food, paid tuition, housing and meal plan. I should be able to bring my leftovers to my DORM. I understand thereā€™s a to go plan but I want to not throw away my leftovers as thatā€™s not very green since Iā€™m not going to force myself to eat when Iā€™m full.

Thank you!
