California Intercollegiate Chess League will be holding the CICL Summer Arena - Week 3 on chess.com this Friday July 31 at 5-6PM PDT. The format will be a 1-Hour Arena with 3|2 Time Control, and we are holding these arenas bi-weekly with the next arena on 8/14. These events are open to college students, alumni, and faculty/staff from all California colleges/universities. The arenas for each week are separate events, so feel free to play whichever weeks you’re available.

In order to play in the CICL Summer Arena, make sure you follow the three steps below.

1. Register on Google Forms. You only need to fill out the form once before participating in any of the arenas.
2. Join the "California Intercollegiate Chess League - CICL" Club on chess.com. You need to join the CICL Group in order to play in the arenas.
3. Starting 4PM on July 31, you'll be able to join the tournament by entering the lobby (this is a direct link to the lobby). Make sure to hit "Join" before 5PM, and plan ahead to be on time! If you happen to be late, you can still join and be paired with the next available player.
