CSF Leak after sinus infection?
Post Body

Hey guys, so a couple of months back, I had a massive sinus infection, to the point where it was causing pressure in my forehead, cheeks, eyes, the works. During that time, I was blowing my nose HARD, trying to get stuff out. One particular time when I blew, an orangish clear liquid dripped out of my left nostril for a few seconds. Didn't really think much of it, got over the sinus infection, and now a couple weeks ago, I got another one. This time the pressure wasnt as bad, but when blowing, the opposite nostril, the only thing coming out is a fluid with the same orangy color, thinner than mucus but like water, but does absorb into the tissue like water, leaving the thicker mucus behind. Sometimes, and most of the time, with a fairly sizeable amount of blood streaks in it too. Over the weekend I had a massive headache, and strange heart palpitations all day long on Saturday (likely not related, but unusual for me). It's not dripping, only when blowing. To add to that, today I blew, normal mucus came out, but I still felt like there was more to go, so I blew harder, then the orange, blood streak stuff started coming out in a fairly large volume... could there be a slight CSF Leak from blowing too hard? If so is there a reason to go to the doctor if it's only happening when blowing hard?....
