Sorry if that's a silly question. I was recently diagnosed with CRPS after suddenly developing pain in my feet about 9 months ago (no idea what caused it). One of the things my pain management doctor wants me to do is physical therapy and I'm curious what the purpose of it is. I'm worried that it will make things worse! A lot of times, I have minimal pain while I'm walking, but then it hits HARD the next day. So I'm afraid that I'll push myself too hard in physical therapy and won't know until it's too late. I don't even have any pain medicine, so I'm desperately trying to avoid flare ups. I guess I'm just wondering what the goal of PT is and how it helps with CRPS?
