Vtiger: email copy from my Gmail account?

Does anyone have some simple directions for me to use my gmail account and have it be captured by vTiger? I used to be able to do this in all the other CRM's I've used (Salesforce, Solv360). I just started this job & do not have experience with vTiger and am not an Administrator.
If I can figure this out, I will not hate this CRM. It's perilously close now - rescue anyone?
