Kinda like the title says. My therapist asked me a question today about my triggers and I donโt really know what they are. But the biggest one my husband noticed is if itโs early morning and I look in a mirror I tend to go down a rabbit hole of self depreciation about how I look like my abuser (my mother) and I end up lashing out and unintentionally hurt him and everyone around me. I know I have my issues but how does one go about finding their triggers to reduce harm to themselves and the loved ones around them?
