I’ve been trying to find a therapist who can help me with my C-PTSD, for the last 7 months. I had one therapist who claimed to have experience with Late Stage Autistics, but soon I realized that she was full of shit, when she suggested I try ABA therapy (I’m 54).
I want to try working on my issues on my own, as I’m stuck in quicksand trying to get my life going again after a recent breakup/job loss from my discovery of my Autism and C-PTSD.
I figured I could do journaling and meditation. I have a therapist who isn’t trained in Trauma Therapy who offered to help me as she could.
Can anyone give me any ideas how I could proceed?
