So my ptsd was triggered at work (never fun) and i had to disclose to my boss that i have ptsd so he wouldnt think im a slacker (also never fun) but on the bright side a nice guy let me use a storage room to calm down in and turns out that in addition to putting my head between my knees (like forward fold in yoga but wide leg) apparently sitting on the floor in a dark small quiet room, pulling my knees to my chest, and hugging/squeezing my whole self for like ten minutes makes my brain chill out enough to be functional. I cannot tell u how long i have been trying to figure out how to make it do that but i think ive found a way that might work sometimes now and im so happy about it
