I’m a man and there’s all the stereotypes. Men don’t go to therapy we use everybody as our personal therapist or whatever. There’s 8 billion people barely 1% of those are therapists! Then you got to look into an even smaller number because you need to find trauma informed therapists. Then even smaller because you need to find a specific type of treatment. Even smaller because online therapy just doesn’t work for you. You need to find the right treatment because you’re not going to be stable enough for emdr or ketamine. But then there’s nothing else that works.
How am I expected to handle my issues “before I get into a relationship” This is going to take years of my time by the time I handle it I’ll already be in my 60s.
Edit: I’ve gone through 6 therapist in the past 2 years.
Edit: The waiting lists are also insane
