Was this the right reaction?
Post Body

In group therapy, someone shared a story where they repeatedly victimized. It made me extremely angry at the abuser, in a sort of protective way (I'm very protective of vulnerable individuals). I expressed that because apparently my reactions looked a bit more like I was shocked at what the person was sharing but it was more like, "I'm about to get someone's head on a stick."

Now I feel guilty thinking about this whole situation. It might not have been the right reaction. Bringing anger into the room. How should I have responded? I'll be asking my therapist too but it's the weekend and it's on my mind a lot right now.
