Just had my follow-up appointment after my sleep study. I found out that I had an AHI of 60-75, that anything above 30 is considered severe, and that I'll be receiving a Dreamstation soon.
Aside from finding out that you needing one earlier in life, what do you wish you would have known about your CPAP before you started using it? Maintainence, Tips for better sleep and ease of use, or anything else you can think of.
Advise specific to Dreamstations with humidifiers would be great, but any and all advise is welcome and appreciated it.
Also, is there anyone out there that uses a CPAP with a beard? I have a beard, and I'd prefer to keep it, but if I have to shave it to get quality sleep I will. I'll be receiving a full face mask...
Thanks in advance for your help!
