Bit of a rant to start: So, I am a school bus driver. Over the summer got diagnosed, got my machine, was informed the company had lost contracts and would not be needed for the coming school year (i.e. laid off more permanently), lost my insurance, found a new job. In the middle of this I had issues with my CPAP and stopped using it. Still no insurance, but now I have a new job driving bus and need to be recertified medically by the DoT. Apparently CPAP compliance is necessary for DOT certification. No one told me about this. So now I have a broken machine and no money to get it fixed and definitely not a print out of 90 days worth of compliance.
Has anyone had issue with compliance certification? Found a work around? Have suggestions, at all?
