New Nasal Pillow User
Post Body

I’m 3 weeks into CPAP therapy. After 2 weeks with a full mask, I asked for a Nasal Pillow.

I’ve always been a mouth breather and desperately want to learn to breathe through my nose. I do so during the day, but would like to at night. So far, mouth tape / chin strap have solved that issue.

After my first attempt with the nasal pillow, I woke up with an incredibly inflamed / dry nose. I literally cannot breathe through my nose right now, it basically feels broken.

Based on what I’ve seen in here, I’m assuming the first fix would be to increase the humidity setting on my airsense 11. Other thoughts I’ve had:

  • nasal breathing strips
  • a bit of Vaseline in each nostril
