Struggled to use CPAP at 10,000 ft. Suggestions?

Post Body

I have an Airsense 11 machine and a p30 nasal pillow mask, and have been using them with good success for about 2 months now. However, over the weekend I went to Keystone, CO which is about 10,000 ft above sea level, and I just couldn't use my CPAP. I ended up ripping it off after about an hour each night, unable to fall asleep.

Both nights I tried to use it, I just felt like I couldn't get enough air. I just felt like I was always trying to "catch up" on my breathing, and to do so, would take big inhales in through my mouth.

My machine settings are set to AutoRamp, min 4, max 20. I was wondering if upping the min-pressure might help? Or a different type of mask? Or something else that people have experimented with? I'm planning 5 more ski trips this year, and would like to have better luck in the future.
