I got hired as an external audit associate in a big 4. Is a CPA license an absolute requirement? Will I be let go if I don’t have it, how long would I stay in my position?
I don’t have high desires in being an accountant, I failed the Audit section, I’m studying for FAR and I don’t know how people can retain a great amount of information. I have other career interests NOT related to accounting (law enforcement, Customs and Border Protection, US Air Force, etc) looking back I should’ve gone for. What should I do, I need advice.
