I began on Monday to legitimately start studying for the CPA exam and I am using Becker to do so. I work part time (25-30 hours) and I am a full time M.B.A. student (5 classes/ 3 in person @ night and 2 online) so I am averaging about 4 hours per day studying (2 before work and 2 before bed). I was wondering if anybody has any suggestions for shortcuts to take in Becker? Like are the skills practice necessary and should I read the book or is it all covered in the lecture? I have started putting lectures on 1.75x speed to get through as many as I can but any tips or hints for shortcuts would be much appreciated!
I chose to start with AUD and plan to sit November 2 or 9 so that’s about 5-6 weeks studying for 4 hours a day.
I know this exam isn’t meant to be easy but I just don’t want to waste time on something most don’t find necessary. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
