Is a CPA study buddy helpful?

So I have been trying to get myself to study for the CPA while working full time, but I always seem to lose motivation after a few months of studying and I really need to buckle down. I have been contemplating reaching out to find other people studying for their CPAs in my area to see if they would want to study together. Has anyone tried doing this and do you find having a study partner helpful? Or have you found that its better to push through it solo?
