Hi all. Colorado angler here. Maybe a dumb question or maybe just a niche question.
Came across some nice cigars recently. I’m not a huge smoker but will partake a few times a year if the situation presents.
What’s etiquette smoking a cigar on a river? Do you guys get annoyed being close to anglers (in busy waters) if someone 20 yards down is smoking a cigar for an hour. More importantly, for a place like Colorado, wildfires are dire out here. Would you think starting and ashing a small smoking fire would be reckless of environment around? Always want to be really conscious of this stuff.
Or is the answer, you’re on the water dummy and outside, smoking is common along anglers.
Just curious as to geographic ettiequte and thoughts.
Thanks!
Dude, smoke away. If someone is offended they can move.
