Looking for a decent spot for catfish??? Near Denver?

Hey all, I don't want you to give up your Honeypot or anything, just looking for a decent spot to take my 13 year old daughter (yes daughter) for catfish. We've tried for the last couple of (5)YEARS and other than 1 private pond and driving 2 hours each way to Pueblo we always get skunked when going for cat's. Can someone give us a good place? We have tried Cherry Creek, chatfield and aurora, and zero catfish at all 3.
