I had COVID (Delta) for the first time back in early November. Last Monday I was exposed to someone who tested positive (most likely Omicron) and two days later I started having symptoms.
I got tested multiple times, the first two times they came bask negative. Doctor told me I probably had a cold and not Covid again because antibodies are supposed to last for about 3 months. Whelp my 3rd PCR came back positive and I am still feeling sick.
The symptoms are different than when I had Delta. First time I had body aches, headache, lost my sense of smell. This time I am SUPER congested and have a terrible sore throat.
I am vaxxed boosted with Moderna and I now know of 2 other people here in LA that are in similar situations as myself having Covid again within a 2 month period.
Had to cancel my Xmas trip back home, but keeping my family safe is the priority!
Stay safe everyone and GET TESTED multiple times if you have plans with your family for Xmas.
