I’ve been suffering with long COVID since 2020. I had it again in March this year, long-term symptoms came raging back. Now I’m sick with the flu (I’m sure it’s not a cold, it’s debilitating enough to look like an influenza infection) and I can guarantee I’ve never been worse than this. Kicking my ass harder than acute COVID and I’ve never been so sick. This is day 6 with a fever, body aches, joint pain, headaches, fatigue, stuffy nose with infected mucus, swollen lymph nodes behind neck, I’ve been bedridden. I’m so sick I can’t even leave bed to eat and I didn’t shower yesterday. If I don’t get better by tomorrow I’ll go to the ER. I wonder if long COVID is now making all other infections from other virus worse for me because of all this chronic inflammation. I feel miserable.
