31 F, 3 shots (2 1 booster). Tachycardia (recently learned I have a bicupsid valve), GAD, GERD, depression, ADHD, PC0S, and IBS.
Well finally got tested positive for C0VID after 3 years of dodging it or at least as far as I know this is the very first infection since I'm dealing with nearly every symptom just in a more minor/shorter term fashion. My Mom got it too but has 2 boosters and has mainly had the cough and brain fog only
Timeline for Me
Day 0 bad post nasal drip and sore throat, low grade fever of 99.6 (my normal is 97.9)...elevated/pounding resting heart rate
Day 1 wet cough began, sore throat worse.....felt raw like swallowing something short, but it passed quickly....body aches also present mainly in my back, sleeping with 90 bpm heart in throat was tricky and uncomfortable
Day 2 sore throat got better, but my tonsils felt a bit swollen, harder to swallow, wet cough got worse, but fever gone, resting heart rate started going back down, but it pounded fast and easily when doing even the most basic physcial tasks that wasn't lying in bed.
Day 3 (felt like my peak day) fatigue and general brain fog started up.....could not go for even my shorter walks and stairs killed me, but never felt short of breath or air hungry, but weak legs and more pounding heart...smell fading in and out and taste beginning to disappear. Also stuffy nose that felt sore, achey teeth and eye balls
Day 4 (today) Brain fog still there, but no worse than yesterday but deif itely feels like my ADHD got worse and a bit dizzy when up and about, stuffy nose and wet cough improving. Smell 90% gone and tast 60% gone (can't raste anything bland).
Honestly everything about C0VID has sucked, but grateful its been mostly minor, but missing my taste and smell already since aromatherpy and food are like 50% of my mental health self care regime so hoping those come back in full and quickly.
Due to my neurospiciness, fatigue and brain fog are already the norm, but I definitely don't want to have those aspects of my life get worse either as I'm trying to improve my health and energy levels in general.
