Worried About Rust

Hello, I am from the Midwest and as everyone from the Midwest knows, rust eats up a car over time. I recently got my new Corolla in April of this year. One question I have is that should I take my Corolla to get a rust prevention treatment done on it before winter? I also heard that it comes from the factory with rust preventive on it.
