Hello to all! I have a 2024 Toyota Corolla SE hybrid and I heard that the break in period for oil changes is 1K. Is that true? I’m trying to keep this car alive till I am in my 50s (am 25). Also, this might sound like a stupid question, so feel free to roast me. But if I were to get an oil change, do I have to go through Toyota themselves or can I just go to a independent mechanic? I know I have Toyotacare. However, in the description, it states that it’ll only cover factory scheduled maintenance. So based on this, I’ll have to pay out of pocket for Toyota do it? If I were to do it through an independent mechanic, would that void anything with Toyotacare? Once again, sorry for the stupid questions and thanks for taking the time to read this.
