Hello everyone,
After a constant search to see if I was going crazy, I wasn’t able to find anything regarding my situation.
My 2013 Corolla SE has a weird phenomenon when I’m trying to use cruise control during a certain time of the day. Early in the morning, cruise control will turn on and work properly with no problem. However, during the middle of the day when it’s super hot outside, (I’m in Florida), cruise control does not function right off the bat, as it would take about 30 to 45 minutes before I’m able to enable cruise control and even use it.
I’m not sure if I’m going crazy or if something is truly wrong with the cruise control system, but I’m wondering if anyone with the same Corrolla generation has the same issue as mine.
It is weird for sure because I have driven newer Corollas (even my friend’s 2014/2015 model) and even if it’s super hot outside, I can still use cruise control right off the bat so I don’t know what’s going on.
If you believe it’s an actual problem that needs to be fixed, please let me know what should I do or should I just keep it the way it is.
Any advice or your own experience is appreciated.
Thank you!
