Antique Reproductions of 3D Objects

Post Body

I've been toying with the idea of 3D scanning antiques to then 3D print and was wondering what the copyright laws are on 3D objects. I am having a hard time finding what copyright laws on actual objects are as opposed to artwork and printed works. Say I were to 3D scan a piece of furniture, statue, or figurine from the 20's-50's. Could I 3D print it with little to no modifications and sell it commercially with a new copyright? Or even sell the STL file? How does one obtain the rights to reproduce an antique if needed?
