OK I'm maybe missing something really basic here but I just wanted to get some other people's thoughts...

A couple of times when I've been playing BR I've been killed getting the pink weapon crates. Nothing too strange there, but even when it's the first pink crate to drop and the person killing me is using what looks to be a custom loadout (not simply just the weapons camos you can equip in the BR loadout menu).

For example, I played a game a short while ago. 2 pink crates dropped near the start of the game. I was on Nuketown Island at the time. The first crate dropped in the middle of the frickin ocean so I hopped in the jet and got the 2nd one as it landed. There wasn't a third drop like there sometimes is. As I picked out my custom gun I got killed by someone using the God of the Sea Kilo skin from clan wars. But I could make out custom attachments like the No Stock and a suppressor.

Now it just wouldn't have been possible for them to have nabbed the other pink crate and got to me from there. They were too far apart from each other.

So my query is this. These folk hacking in guns? Or am I just an idiot?
