What’s the best AR to pair with a sniper that could also be considered for medium to longish range? I’m a big fan of grabbing my AR with with ghost and then either getting a second load out or grabbing one off of somebody that I’ve killed. I don’t like using overkill so sometimes it takes me a little while to grab a sniper. That rules out some of the closer range ARs like the ffar/groza/smgs etc etc because I need my main gun to be able to reach out to all ranges instead of just close/mid. What AR could I main that would have the range for all engagements just in case I don’t find a sniper and how would you build it? Recoil isn’t really an issue. I get confused on whether to run a longer barrel or no barrel because if I’ve got my sniper, I’d rather have a close range AR build, whereas if I don’t have my sniper, I find myself lacking in range and bv, wishing I’d have equipped a longer barrel.
