What’s the deal with Canyon Bikes?

I’ve been trying to buy a canyon gravel bike for a few months now and they are constantly sold out. Is this how they roll or am I missing something? I have yet to find a shop that carries Canyon Bikes too so I guess waiting for the next batch to post on their website is the only way to buy one?
