"Are you dumb?!" Thomas kicked Oliver again and turned to the boys. "She's mine now and we're leaving." Matt and Harrison didn't argue, they knew Thomas wouldn't be asserting his dominance over Oliver unless he had to. Their questions were ignored as he rushed to pack a bag for the walk.

They arrived at the lookout an hour later, three cars were sitting at the end of the trail and he fished her keys out of his back pocket. She had fallen asleep in his arms during the walk, he put her in the backseat gently and started the car.

She didn't wake as he picked her up and carried her into the cabin, paid for a week on his phone before they arrived. The pulled covers and temperate room awaited him, preparations to not wake her. Laying her down on the bed, he exhaled heavily and began to process what he had done.

Standing in the shower, he replayed the events of the day. The sun had set not long after he made the reservation and it had taken another two hours to get there. Not knowing what to do, he had called her best friend who said she liked staying there.

It didn't matter if she wanted him or not, he had to claim her and that meant she couldn’t go home. She could make her decision when she woke up, and he was happy about throwing away his friendship with Oliver over it. Feeling exhausted after his workouts, he crawled into bed next to her and enjoyed feeling her broken femininity in his arms. "Please don't hate me."
