CNC Where It Goes
Post Body

Walking down the valley was something she had always planned to do. The spot was beautiful, and the lookout was the perfect place to enjoy the mountains without having to deal with tourists. The drive from the highway was always fun, and today was even more exciting because she was finally following through with her plan.

Her location always dropped out half way down the dirt road, she wasn't surprised there was no phone reception in the valley. There had been the first time she went to the lookout, a marathon meant a special tower had been brought in for emergencies, but there was nothing happening today. Her phone was nothing more than a digital camera and notepad.

Cool air filled her lungs, calming her nerves. The sky was crystal clear and the sun shone brightly through the leaves. A now non-existent world was left behind as she explored her surroundings for the first time. Thoughts of primitive living filled her head and she wondered what life was really like before societies were created. How wonderful it would be to live among nature and never have experienced modern living. How calm the world would have been. Alone, she began to sing.

"Tie it to sincerities and-"
โ€œHey, youโ€™re pretty good.โ€

She froze, not expecting to hear a voice at that moment. Turning around, she swallowed her brain. Everything was still except her heart, which was ready to kill her at any moment. Unable to move or speak once she had turned, the lone woman awaited the approach of her destiny.
