All you want is to go to the gym, listen to a podcast on the treadmill, and get a good workout in.
It's a typical day. Not overly crowded, which is nice. You'll be able to get to all the equipment when you want and not have to wait. There's always someone just staring at their phone and sitting on a machine. So annoying.
But still, you always feel like you're on display. I mean, everyone looks at everyone briefly. That's fine. You go from the treadmill (where everyone can see your ass) to the cable column (where you can't help but feel like you're sticking your tits out).
Then you spot him. You were just bending over to stretch a little, and you're certain he was looking right at you.
What a creep...but you get it. The yoga pants and sports bra emphasize your nice shape. Who wouldn't want to take an extra look? And did you just get a little tingle thinking about that?
And when you steal a look back at him, you see his tight shirt and his muscles straining against it. Having those arms grab you would be nice. Another tingle? No, just put those thoughts away. Need to focus on this workout. But everywhere you go in the gym, you can feel his gaze.
You finish and head to the car. Sweaty and still tingly. A nice, hot shower at home will be great.
Has that car been following you the whole way from the gym? Stop. You tell yourself that you're just being paranoid.
You walk into your house. Drop the keys and start stripping down for that shower. The hot water feels so good, soothing your body.
Did you remember to the lock the front door? Probably. You always do. And it's a safe neighborhood.
But wait, did you hear a sound? Like the front door quietly closing. You quickly wrap a towel around yourself and open the bathroom door. You freeze. The guy from the gym grabs you and says, "You forgot to stretch. All good girls need to be stretched after working out..."
