You do it on some rare occasion, but you’ve never had any issue with it in the past. You just notice it in morning as you pass by thinking to yourself “whoops”, and you go on about your day as if it’s any other. No harm, no foul.
Unfortunately tonight wasn’t one of those nights. Tonight you had a visitor. An old flame, a secret admirer, a stalker or someone looking to make a quick buck. You don’t know, but they didn’t rush. They took their time and waited deep into the night, knowing you wouldn’t be awake when they stepped through your door. Only faint footsteps could’ve been made out as they walked toward your bedroom, if only it weren’t for you being fast asleep. When you awoke it was already too late for you to stop them or attempt an escape…
