Hello attackers and victims,

As we approach 100,000 subscribers (can you believe it?), the workload involved with our manual post approval process has been causing a lot of moderator burnout. Therefore we are making some changes designed to take the load off our moderators while hopefully keeping this a safe and fun place to find CNC partners:

1. The moderators will no longer manually review posts from every new user. New users will follow the same posting procedure as "Approved users" - namely each user will affirm they have read our rules and agree to follow them, after which their post will go live.
2. We have set up an automoderator system that will scan posts for keywords that indicate a rule has been broken. We have been using this system for a while to identify sleep play and substance play posts, but we are expanding it to other rules
3. Because all users will follow the same posting process, we are retiring the "New User," "Approved User," and "Legacy User" flairs. We have not yet determined what user flair system will replace this, if any. We welcome your input.
4. Because moderators will not be manually reviewing all new posts, we will be relying on our members to identify and report content that is unsafe or breaks our rules. We can't do this without you. Quickly removing bad content keeps this subreddit safe and keeps us from coming under scrutiny from the reddit administrators.
