New here. Z Axis making a "click-click-click-click" noise and dropping a few mm. Stepper motor going bad?
Post Body

I have an Axiom Pro 8 that's about four years old, so it does have some miles on it. Recently noticed the Z Axis making a clicking noise and also dropping a few mm before catching itself. Its maintaining zero during milling though. Checked all the fasteners and they all seem tight. I keep everything routinely lubricated. Consulted a friend and he thinks stepper motor is going, which I wouldn't be surprised. Just wanting a second or third opinion.
