Muscle twitching all over the body?

Hey folks, one of the symptoms I've been experiencing throughout my young adult life is random muscle twitching that can happen absolutely randomly with any muscle. I was curious if someone got prescribed medications that could help with these? They generally don't bother me, but it's really annoying when you're trying to fall asleep and is really distracting.
