IGotzDaMastaPlan launched his campaign in Calgary today at the Calgary TELUS Convention Centre.

“It is an honour to be selected as your Liberal candidate! Calgary is an amazing city, and it deserves better than what the Conservatives, who take you for granted, have to offer. As your candidate, I am fully committed to improving Calgary’s public transport network. I want to see more CTrain lines constructed, so that everyone in Calgary can easy commute by CTrain! Aren’t we all tired of waiting in traffic on Macleod Trail or Memorial Drive? As your MP, I will ensure that these painfully slow commutes are a thing of the past! I want the CTrain to better serve the Nose Hill area and Southeast Calgary.

But I won’t just be focusing on transportation within Calgary - we, the Liberal Party will replace the Trans-Canada Highway with dual carriageways! And we’ll do this between Calgary and Winnipeg first! This will make driving across Canada a much more pleasant experience, whilst also benefiting our economy.

Speaking of the economy, as your MP, I will also fight to reduce your taxes!

The Liberal Party also believes in supporting our small businesses, so we will reduce the corporate income tax rate to 8%!

We will also review and limit burdensome customs rules and fines, so that it will be much easier for Alberta to trade with the US!

The crowd erupted into applause as IGotzDaMastaPlan finished his speech and left the convention centre.
