I’m in a bit of a unique situation and could really use some help. I’m 30 and about to head off to the Army in a couple of weeks. One thing that's been on my mind a lot recently is the fact that I’m still a virgin. I know this might sound trivial, but it's something I’d like to experience before I start this new chapter of my life.
I’m not looking for a quick fix or a one-night stand just to “get it over with.” I want it to be with someone I can connect with, even if it’s just for a short time. I’m aware that this might sound like I’m putting too much pressure on myself, but it’s hard not to when it feels like everyone around me has already had this experience.
I’ve been pretty shy around girls, which has made dating difficult. I have never kissed a lady let alone seen one naked or even touched one and now I feel like I’m running out of time before I ship out. And now I’m worried that going into the Army without having this experience might make me feel even more out of place.
So, I’m reaching out to see if anyone is willing to help a poor sap out.
