Personally trying keeping the great houses alive.
Post Body

So after a solid 150 (starting in 8295) of building myself up I form an (tiny) empire that started in Basilisk Isles and takes no space on the two main continents (Sothoryos is the best continent anyway) I decide take a look around the world because I have paid so little attention to it.

On Westeros The North and Dorne are free so it’s a 5 kingdom now. I check it out and a Baratheon still sits on the throne which I found pretty cool so went about checking on the other great houses. The Lanisters, Baratheon, Greyjoys and Arryns are all in the right places ruling there correct regions.

The North Doesn’t have a stark. It’s rules by an Umber and after searching around I found out there only two Living and unlanded Starks. A 59 year old man with the windowed trait and his my child 29 year daughter who he married off to some house I have never heard off. The Starks are about to go extinct. Crap. I use a favor to get the Father and spend 500 gold on the faceless men to murder her husband. (I would have let them kill me if that what it took). She won’t except my invite so I marry her to my one if my guys to get her to my court and then murder that guy and take her as my third wife but making sure our children would get Stark name.

(I also spend s small fortune and one of my daughters to get the father back his Kingdom the he rightly deserves but he still can’t have children so it’s kinda a dead end. )

The other great houses are also not ruling there area to few members so get myself a member from on of them as well and marry them appropriately ensure there house won’t die off either. Then decide just grab someone from the ones in power just Incase (except Dorne)

So all the great houses are married off to my various children in a way ensure the survival of each house. (And wait from my Stark wife save the dynasty)

And that’s how I spend spent my last two hours playing CK2 Agot

No regrets.

Edit: my first character married Danny matrilineal ( its kinda weird how no one considers her important at all)so the Targaryen line is still alive ruling one of my high Lordships.
